A couple of weeks ago all of us at Summit experienced a profound loss as one of our patients lost her battle with an eating disorder and depression. The loss of such a good-hearted person who was just starting her adult life reminded all of us of the seriousness of eating disorders. Patients are in temendous pain even though they may not outwardly show it.
