I completely agree that eating disorders get in the way of our aspirations and goals. I loved your line, "What I know now is that life is all about doing the impossible." I have found this statement to be very true in my life especially after I was able to have a successful bulimia recovery. I had previously thought this would be impossible. I would love if you checked out my website, http://www.getbusythriving.com/index.html

I have 7 guitars and4 amps and a PA --my main compulsion

I want to play like Hendrix, Duane Allman, names of dozens more. I do play well when I play often and practice. However, I have excuses, I'm tired, depressed, filled to the gills with junk food.

I have been playing more lately and that is good for me.

I agree with the statement that life is about doing the impossible. I'm still recovering from an eating disorder and at times it seems impossible that recovery can happen. I am learning that recovery is possible and that we who struggle with it can overcome this illness. It's not easy but it can be done. Stay strong!
