Emily West to Host 2009 Fashion for EveryBODY®
(Nashville—June 1, 2009)—Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT) has been rocking the Nashville fashion scene the last 5 years with their pioneering, upbeat fashion show that celebrates local “ROLE models” of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Fashion for EveryBODY is a unique, uplifting event that truly celebrates the beauty that comes in all shapes and sizes.
EDCT is thrilled to announce Capitol Records recording artist Emily West as host of Fashion for EveryBODY 2009. “As an artist, her spirit, boldness, independence and strong sense of self are qualities that are very much in line with our organization” says Beth Knott, co-chair for the event and an EDCT board member.
This year’s Fashion for EveryBODY ROLE models will be chosen from those who are nominated. To nominate someone, visit www.fashionforeverybody.org. Nominations are being accepted through July 15, 2009. Each ROLE model will have the opportunity to show off the latest fall trends courtesy of over a dozen top Nashville boutiques. Nominees can be male or female, at least 21 years of age and be someone who celebrates the uniqueness of his or her shape and size. All they need is sheer fabulousness shining from the inside out.
The event will take place Saturday, September 26 at 7 pm at the Commodore Ballroom, 310 25th Avenue South, Nashville, Tenn. Tickets go on sale July 1 and will be available through Tickets Nashville. For more information visit www.fashionforeverybody.org or call 615.831.9838.
Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee is a resource for individuals, families, and communities on eating disorders, with the hope that education will prevent the development of eating disorders and provide those who are impacted by disordered eating with support, information, and assistance in finding effective treatment.
