Thank you Aimee for your comments and your book was incredibly informative.

Another action that a person may want to consider during the holidays is to go back to the basics. Pre-planning events, meals...and identifying ahead of time what stressors may come up and how they might be handled can also be helpful.

For myself, it is being more aware of following my meal plan, knowing what tools are available (tool kit, journaling, medical team, support circle...), and making time throughout the day to do something geared towards my recovery.

Finally, it might be helpful to remember that holidays can be stressful for "everyone" not just me.
